Methodology

These calculators are intended for transparent planning estimates. They make formulas and assumptions visible so users can compare the result with their own device labels, manuals, and project constraints.

Estimate basis

  • All results are estimates, not guarantees.
  • Formulas are kept visible in each calculator so inputs and limits can be reviewed.
  • Default device wattages are typical estimates. Use equipment labels, manuals, and manufacturer documentation when available.
  • Runtime and charging results can change with temperature, battery age, inverter behavior, load cycling, cable losses, weather, and device settings.

Safety boundaries

  • Electrical connections, generator connections, transfer equipment, and code compliance should be handled with qualified professional guidance.
  • Critical medical equipment backup planning should be reviewed with the device manufacturer, clinician, or qualified professional.
  • Refrigerator runtime estimates do not determine whether food is safe. Follow official food safety guidance and appliance instructions.
  • The site does not provide electrical installation, medical, food safety, insurance, or legal advice.

Independence

The MVP does not publish product rankings, affiliate links, purchase recommendations, brand endorsements, or real-world test claims. It is not connected to AdSense yet and does not load real ad scripts.
